Fotografic Workshops
Learn alternative photographic processes such as cyanotype, lumen, cyanolumen, and phytograms. For young and old. For beginners and advanced learners. In my garden, at your workplace, with your friends on location.

I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to pick up a newly learned technique at home. That's why my workshops are designed so that you not only create something beautiful during the class, but above all learn how to continue easily and independently at home. Accessible, low-threshold, and yet full of creative challenges—so that you can continue to develop your own visual language.
This is the current workshop offering:
🔹 Cyanotype basics
🔹 Cyanotype advanced
🔹 Lumens, phytograms & natural developers
🔹 Combining cyanolumens and chemigrams
🔹 Van Dyke technique
In addition, I experiment extensively with other processes such as gum printing, chiba printing, and alternative developers based on garden plants. These techniques are gradually finding their way into the workshop offerings.
For children, there are playful cyanotype workshops, and for secondary school students, there is room to work with lumens, magazines, and other accessible techniques.
You can find the full range in my online store—including handy cyanotype kits for home use. Do you have a special idea or would you like something customized? Feel free to send me a message, I'd be happy to help you!
Cyanotype
Immerse yourself in the world of these sustainable and oldest photographic techniques, dating back to 1839.
We start with an inspiring basic course, in which you will get hands-on experience with plants from the garden, analog negatives, and surprising techniques. The goal? To familiarize you with the process in a relaxed way, so that you can continue experimenting independently at home with confidence and creativity.
For those with some experience, the advanced course offers room to deepen your knowledge and explore further. Together, we will explore new materials, alternative colors, complex compositions, and working with wet processes. A playful and exploratory setting in which you will truly learn to master the techniques.
Also available for companies, schools, or on location during an exhibition or event.

Lumen, Fytograms & Eco developer
Step into the world of plant-based photography! In this unique workshop, you will learn how to create your own images on photographic paper and film using sustainable developers that you prepare from plants you pick yourself—from your garden, the forest, or just off the sidewalk. No chemical mess, just pure natural power.
Phytograms are magical prints in which moisture from plants, the developer, light, and time combine to form an image on paper or film. We work with an almost entirely sustainable method: not only is the developer plant-based, but the fixer is also as environmentally friendly as possible.
Because sheet film is expensive, the emphasis is on experimenting with old photo paper, 35mm film, and a single sheet of flat film. This gives you the opportunity to explore different media and, with enough experience and confidence, continue at home.
Whether you are a photographer, an image maker, or simply curious about alternative processes, this workshop will open new doors in the way you see and work. Discover how to literally capture nature in images!

Cyanolumens & Chemigrams
Be amazed by the magic of alternative photography in this experimental workshop, where we combine two special techniques: chemigrams and cyanolumens. It's basically painting with light, plants, and chemistry.
Chemigrams are a free form of image-making in which you draw and paint on photographic paper with all kinds of materials — from natural fixatives to plant-based developers. The result is always unpredictable and full of character.
Cyanolumens combine classic cyanotype with sunlight and old-fashioned photographic paper. We apply a cyanotype emulsion by hand and let the sun and time do their work — often resulting in enchanting color gradients and surprising shapes.
In my own practice, I like to combine these processes, precisely because of their playful and experimental nature. During this workshop, I invite you to do the same: dare to discover, combine, and let go of what you think you know about photography.
